First post...

So...what's up? I guess I just vent on here or talk about stuff that happened during the day? Well ok, here goes.

Today was a pretty uneventful day so I'll just give a briefing of the entire week. I woke up at 8:15 am to get ready for my 10:30 am History class (My college is at least 45 minutes away riding on the train). I hate going to this class mainly because of the professor. She's a real B**ch, or so i thought she was in the beginning. She's a pretty good professor but she just doesn't realize that people have things that affect them outside of school that they may not be able to control. Classes officially started 2 weeks ago from this past Monday. During the first week of classes all my courses were dropped due to non-payment (Financial didn't come through in time). When i tried to register for my courses again, they were all filled up with students. I had to start adding random classes on the last day of registration to give me at least 12 credits so that I can be considered a full-time student. Anyway, this professors History class was one of the classes I added randomly.

I walked into class 10 minutes before class started last Tuesday at 9:15 am. The first thing she tells me is that if I 1 more absense I'll fail her class and that I already have 4 cuts. Umm....what the fuck? How can I have cut a class 4 times without being registered for it. She refused to talk me about then so I just sat in class and took notes. I have her class Mon., Tues., and Thurs.. That Thursday I was running a bit late and got class about 12-13 minutes late. She told me to leave the class. I had at least 45 minutes left of class time that I PAID FOR, not the governemnt! Now ladies and gentlemen reading...I'm a passive/non-confrontational kinda guy, but i was ready to start acting really ingorant. Luckily I think shit through and realized it wouldn't be in my best interest to do act a fool. I just calmly asked where the history dept. office was. She told me so I went straight there to complain about her ass.

I get to the history dept. only to find out that students normally go to my professor to complain about the other history dept. professors. The only person I could complain about her to was the head chairperson. Things were looking bleak because I thought it would take at least a couple weeks for me to be able to speak to the chairperson about this professor. I actually managed to speak to her later on that day. The chairperson couldn't do anything about the professor because 'supposedly' the professor made it clear about her tardy policies in the beginning (I wasn't there for that). All the chairperson could do for me was give me the same class, but an hour later. I think to myself, "Hey! That's great!".

I got to History class this monday on time to find the same professor teaching this class too. I just sucked it up and went with it. I put aside my dislike of her long enough to realize she's not a bad professor. Her office hours are at a time that i have another class so I wouldn't be able to make it to tak to her in private. So after todays class she asked me to walk and talk with her about my concerns and problems with the class. The talk went well and i think everything is cool now...we'll see.

As for my other class, everythings pretty good. I also take salsa dancing classes 3 times a week for no credit. I take them to get better and impress a girl lol. Todays class went really well. I got to talk to one of the other students more today and found out her boyfriend is a professional music producer. JACKPOT! He takes interns and apprentices, so I'm in there. Hopefully he'll help me sharpen my producing and mixing skills. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

And...yea...that's about it. This will probably be my last ranting post like this. I just read it over and can't believe how proper I sound lol. I don't talk like this =P.

Stay up, be safe, and laugh whenever you can!
